Hands On House New Museum Pass available for hold now at our library

Our newest museum partner is the Hands On House! We can put you on the list to receive the pass. It is very popular so the pass is not sitting on our shelf! Call us at 610-593-6683 if you would like to be put on the list to receive the Hands On House museum pass. Or you can put it on hold yourself at www.christianalibrary.org and go to the Resources tab and select Catalog. At the top right hand corner is “Your Account Login”, select that and put in your last name, Library barcode and your PIN. If you do not have a PIN, you will be prompted to create one. After you have logged in, search the catalog for “Hands On Family Museum Pass”. Select “Request”. Then you will be asked where you’d like to pick up your item. Select which library you would like. You will receive an e-mail or phone call when we get it in.

Museum Passes are available at the library!!!

Your local Lancaster County library has Museum Passes for you to take out and gain admission to some very wonderful places. We have the Science Factory, Landis Valley, Hans Herr House, Wheatland (James Buchanan’s home), Ephrata Cloister, Toy Train, North Museum, National Watch and Clock Museum, Rockford Plantation and the Make 717 STEM Marker Pass.

We are showing the documentary (39 minutes) on “Josiah – the Story that Sparked the Civil War” on Saturday June 2nd at 1pm. Co-hosting this event is the Christiana Historical Society. We will have a lively discussion following the film. This event is free.
